A middle-aged brother and sister, Amy and Andy, are stuck living at home in regional Australia, caring for their chronically ill mother. To escape this mundane existence, Amy creates a fantasy world in her lounge room that revolves around her idol, Olivia Newton-John. In between working two jobs to pay for the medical bills, Andy indulges his sister's devotion. He knows that if it weren't for Olivia, they'd both be going mad. But Andy is starting to change. He's ready to move on. The problem is, Amy is perfectly happy in her fantasy world and wants things to stay the same.

Hopelessly Devoted, a delightful two hander musical that does for Olivia Newton-John what Mamma Mia did for ABBA, plays at Glen Street Theatre from today 26-31 August. It features 15 songs from the Olivia Newton-John catalogue including You're the One That I Want, Xanadu, Physical, Magic, I Honestly Love You, Sam, Let Me Be There, Banks Of The Ohio, If You Love Me Let Me Know, If Not For You and of course Hopelessly Devoted To You.

"Hopelessly Devoted is a terrific, original and inventive two-hander musical play. With its songbook of Olivia Newton-John hits, it can't miss." - Stage Whispers
