Future's Eve Brings Dystopian Fembot Fever Dreams And Feminist Futures To Bondi Feast ImageBoundary defying Australian artist Michelle Aitken makes her NSW debut at Bondi Feast, 17 - 21 July with the award winning feminist future solo Future' Eve.

Future's Eve is a cult sci-fi performance spectacle which shifts between theatre, dance, live art, and retro science fiction to playfully investigate the gendered and erotic nature of future technologies. Encounter an array of lady-robots from sex-bots to personal assistants, and a toaster called Tina; freshly brewed coffee; a bizarre game-show; and a celebratory blitz of feminine revenge.

Future's Eve is a comedic, joyful and punk rock performance work that gets at the heart of our erotic relationship with technologies present and future. You will never talk to Siri in quite the same way again.

Future's Eve premiered in early 2018 and has been presented at Paper Mountain Gallery and The Blue Room Theatre, Perth, where it won the Melbourne Fringe Tour ready award.

The creative team consists of the most exciting emerging artists currently practicing in Perth:

Designer Olivia Tartaglia (Next Wave Festival) composer Azariah Felton, and dramaturg Andrew Sutherland (Unveiling: Gay Sex for Endtimes.) Joe Lui of Renegade Productions mentored the project.
