COMEDIENNE in Canberra Raises Funds for Beryl's Place

Fresh of the back of season at Perth Fringe world and Adelaide Fringe, award-winning musical comedian Sarah Gaul is thrilled to be returning to Canberra with her explosive new musical comedy show COMEDIENNE. Playing and singing her all-original content live, Gaul will take you through anecdotes, thoughts and reflections on what the hell it means to a be a female human woman in 2017. Sharp, funny, surprising and moving, COMEDIENNE is a not-to-be-missed show by one of Australia's most exciting comedy talents. Sarah is proud to be donating 30% of proceeds from the show to Beryl's Place, which provides housing and assistance to women and children experiencing domestic violence or homelessness.

SARAH GAUL is an award-winning musical comedienne, writer and improviser from Sydney, NSW. Sarah has taken her one-woman show to the Adelaide Fringe Festival, Melbourne Cabaret Festival, Melbourne Comedy Festival, Sydney Fringe Festival and Sydney Comedy Festival. Sarah was selected by the 2016 Sydney Comedy Festival as One of the 'Most Exciting Emerging Comedians,' and was labelled by Mamamia as 'One of Australia's funniest Women,' Sarah was the winner of the 2013 Short and Sweet Cabaret Festival, the winner of the prestigious 2015 Sydney University Theatresports Cup, and a semi-finalist in the 2015 and 2016 Cranston Cup. As a playwright, Sarah has been published by Currency Press and has had work produced by ATYP and Tantrum Theatre.
