Jenny Morris and Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy have today announced the final details of the 2016 Art of Music Collection to be auctioned at Sydney's most unique and dynamic fundraising events, Art of Music, at the Art Gallery of New South Wales on Saturday, 18 June, 2016.
From the overwhelming success of the inaugural event 10 years ago, Art of Music has become one of the most anticipated events on the calendar and is a biennial event which combines the mediums of visual art and music. Prominent contemporary visual artists from Australia come together to create a uniquely music inspired exhibition with artists choosing a piece of music, using it as inspiration for their own original artwork, culminating in the Art of Music Charity Auction and Gala Dinner. In addition to the 10 amazing visual artists previously announced - Lucy Culliton, Nicholas Harding, Laura Jones, Guy Maestri, Tim Maguire, Michael Muir, Joan Ross, Alex Seton, Christian Thompson and Stan Yarramunua - Art of Music is once again proud to have multi-award winning artist, Ben Quilty, donating a painting of his friend, Jenny Morris. A full list of the works included in the 2016 Art of Music Collection are below.Tickets to this special event are available now and the booking form is available from - www.artofmusic.com.au
