Soile Isokoski at Grand Théâtre de Genève

The Marschallin is back in Geneva! Many remem- ber her as Elsa in Daniel Slater’s production of Lohengrin for the Grand The?a?tre in 2008. Even more present in the audience’s hearts is her memorable performance of the leading lady of Rosenkavalier, in the 2011-2012 reprise of Otto Schenck’s legendary Munich production. This “Northern Light”, as her given name suggests in her native Finnish language, has long been shining on the great roles of the soprano repertoire, from Mozart to Strauss. Soile Isokoski comes to Geneva for an intimate evening of voice and piano, with her accompanist Ilkka Paananen.
