Pino Daniele at the Théâtre du Léman in Geneva on 22 May 2012
With a more than 30 years performing career, the Napolitano Pino Daniele will take the stage in Geneva in the spring of 2012 for promotion of his new album and as part of his new tour. He will enchant his fans with his songs which are a cross between musical blues and Mediterranean sounds, during this stop in Geneva on 22 May 2012 at the Théâtre du Léman.
Composer, singer, bassist autodidactic guitarist, Pino Daniele who’s music is a mix of the blues and Mediterranean sounds, has been strongly influenced by the Jazz performances of Louis Armstrong, the rock and roll of Elvis Priestley, as well as his own strong Italian Naploli roots. Since 1977, his musical productions have integrated all these elements – jazz, rumba, blues, rock and soul.
In 2008, Pino Daniel celebrated his 30 years as a performer with the release of a triple Best Of album and a concert in Napoli that drew some 200’000 fans. A new album is planned for 2012; with Pino set to perform live some of the titles from this album in the May 2012 concert in Geneva.
