Le Nozze di Figaro at Grand Théâtre de Genève

At Count Almaviva’s country seat, his butler Figaro and his wife’s chambermaid Susanna are preparing to get married but the Count has taken a fancy to Susanna and regrets having abolished his feudal rights on all the brides of his lands. Figaro decides to teach his master a lesson. The estranged Countess and her randy young godson, the page Cherubino, get drafted into Figaro’s cunning plan, which backfires repeatedly until the Countess takes charge of the dizzyingly complex situation.
