Tribute Concert to Frank Sinatra at Royal Opera AB

"Frank Sinatra has followed me all my life," said Peter Mattei, Sweden's most seductive male voice in the world since the Jussi Björling.

This year would Ol 'Blue Eyes turned 100 years and 10 November celebrates Peter Mattei himself Frankie Boy at the Royal Opera's main stage. Backed by Royal Orchestra led by conductor and arranger Anders Berglund front he works from Frank Sinatra's voluminous repertoire. Participants will also court singer Elin Rombo, currently working as Sophie in Der Rosenkavalier.

In December 2013 was released Once In My Life, an album in which Mattei interprets "The American Songbook" with classics like Pennies From Heaven, the New York New York and My Way. The concert at the Opera House offers a unique opportunity to meet Peter Mattei in a different and unique context.

As an opera singer Peter Mattei, now including the New York Metropolitan and La Scala in Milan as the home scenes. But in the beginning of next year once he komer to the opera with one of their prime roles: Amfortas in Wagner's Parsifal.
