New Year Concert at Royal Opera AB

On New Years Eve we present a sparkling New Year's Concert with the Royal Opera, gentlemen of the Royal Opera's choir, the brilliant tenor Daniel Johansson and the internationally acclaimed soprano Lana Kos. All under the guidance of chief conductor Lawrence Renes.

Lana Kos was born in Varazdin in Croatia and trained at the Music Academy in Zagreb and made his debut at age 17 as the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute. Since then she has had great success internationally and has the whole world as his work; from Beijing to Sao Paolo. Lana Kos also made great success when she last spring sang the lead role in Verdi's La traviata at the Royal Opera.

Daniel Johansson is currently working as Rodolfo in José Cura set of La Bohème at the Royal Opera. Premiere 21 November. The young tenor has already managed major roles in classics such as Carmen, Madama Butterfly and La Traviata, both in Sweden and internationally.

2016 fills Hovkapellet 490 years and ends in 2015 grand style with full orchestra.
