Zerlinas big brother has done most of the worst. Still, he's like a magnet - everyone wants to be where Juan is. He lives like there's no tomorrow. The party never ends and the adventure has no limits. Or? One night, city police chief dies and everything comes to a head. Five young people's paths cross and the hunt for the killer spins ever faster through a town in the moonlight. Zerlina, who until now has been at his brother's shadow, forced to take a stand. Who would she be? My brother is Don Giovanni, an opera for high school which is about love and freedom, right and wrong, about finding one's identity, and what it's like to be invisible next to someone you love. The piece is based on Mozart's opera Don Giovanni, but has worked with new Swedish lyrics by Sophie Helsing and arrangements and newly composed music by composer and percussionist Niklas Brommare. It will be a musical thriller with cinematic flair. produced in cooperation with The University College of Opera in Stockholm. All roles are done by students attending the third year of the Bachelor's program.
