Sasha Waltz is one of the world's most renowned and innovative choreographers and her performances have had an impact far beyond the dance scenes. Now she comes to Stockholm in a unique collaboration with the Royal Ballet. Körper, "bodies" in German, premiered in Berlin in 2000 and has since danced the Waltz own company. Now the Royal Ballet the first dance piece in Scandinavia.

In Körper arrange Sasha Waltz 13 dancers in a number of spectacular tableaux of the human body and highlights some of today's most interesting questions. What is a body? How is it constructed? Where are the limits of genetic manipulation? Sasha Waltz moves between different art forms and expressions and explores its performing arts issues that concerns us here and now. The dialogue between dance, opera, theater, contemporary music and visual arts are the power source in everything she does.
