The Consulate General of Sweden in New York and Export Music Sweden present an exclusive Brooklyn showcase curated by Luger featuring some of the newest and brightest stars of Swedish pop, soul and hip-hop at Baby's All Right in Williamsburg on Thursday, December 15. The evening will feature live performances by Swedish artists Sabina Ddumba, Bladee, Nadia Tehran, WOE and ishi vu.
Sabina Ddumba
Sabina became one of Sweden's most celebrated pop acts after the release of hit songs such as "Effortless" and "Not Too Young." During 2016 she released her debut album Homeward Bound and won a Swedish Grammy and P3 Gold Award for "Best Newcomer."

Bladee
Bladee is a Stockholm-based rap artist who has toured globally with the internationally known Swedish rap phenomenon Yung Lean and Sad Boys. He is a member of the Gravity Boys collective and just released his debut album Rainworld as well as the EP Rip Bladeeearlier this year. Sweden Makes Music will be his first stateside performance as a solo artist.

Nadia Tehran
Nadia's sound combines soaring vocals and anti-authoritarian raps in a volatile mix of political punk and hip-hop. The provocative video for her single "Refugee" was recorded covertly in Iran and released earlier this summer to widespread acclaim.

WOE
Born in Zimbabwe and rapping since the age of 13, WOE belongs to the Tensta Gospel Choir, just like Lykke Li, Seinabo Sey and many other internationally recognized Swedish artists did early in their careers. WOE's performance at Sweden Makes Music will mark one of his very first international appearances.
