BULLETS OVER BROADWAY - The European premiere of Woody Allen's musical.

BULLETS OVER BROADWAY is coming to Europe, Stockholm and the Göta Lejon theatre. With a stellar cast, singing, laughing and dancing, this will be a grand performance and production.

BULLETS OVER BROADWAY is written by none other than Woody Allen. It has everything that a real musical should have; speed, fan, exuberance and delightful humor. In the impressive cast of characters we see among others Helen Sjöholm, Johan Rheborg, Johan Rabaeus, Shima Niavarani, Katrin Sundberg and Andreas Nilsson. The young screenwriter David Shane played by Linus Wahlgren.

The glittering show is set in the late 1920s where the young screenwriter David Shane (Linus Wahlgren) just arrived to Broadway. To get the opportunity to put their latest creations on a big Broadway Stage forcing the renowned producer Julian Marx (Per Svensson) him to hire the untalented actress Olive Neal (Shima Niavarani). The reason is that she happens to be the powerful gangster and financier Nick Valenti's (Johan Rabaeus) girlfriend. Olive Neal is demanding but her "gangster escort" Cheech (Johan Rheborg) proves to be a genius that comes with brilliant ideas when it comes to theater sets. Just in time for the premiere David Shane finds himself entangled in various complications, including lies that Cheechs brilliant ideas are his own, and a deal with the show's seductive and slightly inebriated protagonist, Helen Sinclair (Helen Sjöholm).
