Viktoria Tocca on "BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY"
- "Bridges of Madison County" is my new favourite musicals for so many reasons. It was the first time since "The Phantom of the Opera" and "Kristina" that I was so deeply moved by a show. It is also very rare that you would write new material for a more classical soprano in the musical context, and after playing my dream role of Christine in "Phantom of the Opera" when I was younger it's so great to find a new dream role is that cut out for me both in terms of voice and age. It is extremely rare to find something that is so well written and multilayered in a musical.
