AUDITION FOR GROUNDHOG DAY at Wermland Opera

Audition for Groundhog Day 5-7 of May 2019 in Karlstad
Wermland Opera produces the musical Groundhog day with an estimated premiere February 15, 2020. We are looking for both male and female professionals musical artists and singing actors of all ages to roles and ensembles. The musical is a comedy and is written by Tim Minchin and Danny Rubin and is based on the movie of the same name.
WHERE AND WHEN:
Audition will take place at Spinneriet, Älvgatan 49 in Karlstad, May 5-7
2019. May 7 is call-back day.
HOW:
There will be no audition of dance, but only a vocal test.
When we choose which ones go on, we take CV into account, in addition to the impression we have received during the tests.
NOTIFICATION:
You register by emailing camilla.nordstrom@wermlandopera.com by April 22 at the latest. Attach CV and photo. Invitations to audition will be sent Monday, April 29th. BRING:
To audition you should bring your notes (to the pianist) NOTE! The notes must be in the key you want to sing if you want accompaniment. The song sample may be max 3 minutes.
Do not submit notes or any other material to Wermland Opera. We receive everything in place.
All applicants must prepare two songs, one of which may be comical.
However, we reserve the right for everyone not to sing both of their songs.
