3 cutting-edge choreographers. 3 local professional companies. 3 world premieres.
New Dance Horizons – Dance St. Louis’ annual production of nationally recognized choreographers collaborating with local professional dance companies to create and perform world premieres in different styles – returns for its sixth year.
The original Dance St. Louis production, which was started to elevate the work of local dance companies to a national level through collaboration with nationally recognized choreographers, returns March 31, curated by Dance St. Louis’ new artistic consultant Terence Marling.
New Dance Horizons VI gives audiences an up close and personal experience. Taking place inside the recently renovated Grandel Theatre, the 450-seat space allows the audience to observe and absorb the nuances and boldness of the choreography in an intimate setting – the most intimate to date since Dance St. Louis launched the new works series in 2012.
New Dance Horizons VI: Live at The Grandel
Saturday, March 31 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
All tickets are $20 and available through MetroTix at 314-534-1111 or http://www.metrotix.com.
