Circus Harmony is back with their annual, full length, ticketed show. This year, it is an epic adventure with somersaulting, sword fighting, and a circus called Swashbuckle! The show features all-new acts co-created with Circus Harmony’s sensational staff and talented students.
Circus Harmony artistic/executive director and founder points out, “This is our first full length show since the lockdown. It is also a show where our youth circus performers have done a lot of the choreography. It is impressive seeing them flex their physical and creative muscles in this production. Look for the new hand to trapeze act where a flyer is passed back and forth from a base on the ground to an aerial base! This is a new genre in circus arts and the three young women presenting it do a beautiful job!”
Swashbuckle! features a Pirate Queen, a sea witch, and a real parrot all after the same treasure. The show is presented in the circus ring at City Museum that Circus Harmony calls home. Acts include unicycling, contortion, minitrampoline, wire-walking and much more.
Director Briland Schack - Farnell says, “The hardworking staff of Circus Harmony and their amazingly talented students have put together an epic adventure of pirates and parrots, magic and mayhem, swords and circus that you won't want to miss!"
Tickets are $15 at https://circusharmony.org/shows/swashbuckle/
Shows are on April 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, & 30, 2023 (Saturdays at 3pm & 7pm, Sundays at 2pm)
