Ballet Folklórico de México is the premier folkloric dance ensemble in Mexico and has captivated over 45 million spectators worldwide since its founding in 1952 by choreographer Amalia Hernández. The company beautifully showcases the music, dance, and costumes of Mexican culture, drawing from both pre-Columbian and contemporary traditions. With a permanent residence at the iconic Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City, Ballet Folklórico de México continues to serve as a cultural ambassador, presenting a rich tapestry of Mexico's history through its performances.
