The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis (The Rep), in collaboration with Pudd'nhead Booksellers, will host author Walter Mosley on Thursday, January 6, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. for a Q&A and book signing. The Q&A will take place from 5-5:45 p.m. on the Browning Mainstage of the Loretto-Hilton Center for the Performing Arts, 130 Edgar Road (on the campus of Webster University), Webster Groves, followed by the book signing in the lobby.

A celebrated crime novelist best known for his Easy Rawlins series of mysteries, Walter Mosley has written more than 34 critically acclaimed books that have been translated into 21 languages, including Devil in a Blue Dress. He is the winner of numerous awards, including an O. Henry Award, a Grammy and PEN America's Lifetime Achievement Award. Mosley has achieved success in literary fiction, science fiction, political monographs, a young adult novel, and has been published in The New York Times Magazine and The Nation, among other publications.

Based on his novel The Tempest Tales, Mosley's first-ever play, The Fall of Heaven, will be performed on the Browning Mainstage of the Loretto-Hilton Center for the Performing Arts, January 5 through January 30, 2011.

The Tempest Tales will be available for sale on-site from Pudd'nhead Booksellers for $14.00. Pre-orders will also be available for signed copies of Mosley's newest book When The Thrill is Gone coming out in March for $29.95. Proceeds from book sales will benefit The Rep.

During the book signing, Mosley will personalize books and take photographs with fans. Due to time constraints, only books purchased through Pudd'nhead Booksellers and The Rep will be signed.

Café at The Rep will open early for food and beverage purchases during the book signing. Attendees should park in the free parking garage on Garden Avenue across from The Rep.

To pre-order The Tempest Tales (reserved for pick-up at book signing) or When The Thrill is Gone (must be picked up at Pudd'nhead Booksellers), contact Pudd'nhead Booksellers at (314) 918-1069.
