The full cast and creative team have been assembled for Ozark Actors Theatre's upcoming production of the Jeanine Tesori musical Violet.

The creative team is led by Director A.S. Freeman, Music Director Titus Kautz, and Choreographer Lara Petrin. Kevin Shaw will provide the lighting design, Jack Golden is the scenic designer, and Laura Light is designing props. The sound will be designed and engineered by Bre Sakalis, and Julian AC King will design the costumes.

Returning for her third season at Ozark Actors Theatre, Hollyn Gayle (Footloose and Annie Get Your Gun) takes on the role of Violet. Dan Fenaughty also returns to OAT for his third season, this time taking on the dual role of both the Preacher and the Father. St. Louis favorite, and St. Louis Theatre Circle Award Winner Omega Jones (Stray Dog's Jesus Christ Superstar, Ragtime) makes his Ozark Actors Theatre debut in the role of Flick.

The deeply talented cast includes Danny Bertaux (Monty), Nicholas Reese (Earl), Pauline Parkhurst (Mabel), Kelly Brown (Virgil), and Susan Holmes (Old Lady). Jeanitta Perkins will take to the OAT stage for the first time in the Gospel Soloist track.

Violet features lyrics and a book by Brian Crawley, with music by Jeanine Tesori. It is based on The Ugliest Pilgrim by Doris Betts. Violet is presented through Special Arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized production materials are also supplied by MTI - more information at www.MTIShows.com.

The Ozark Actors Theatre production of Violet is proudly sponsored by Forum Dental and A Slice of Pie.
