The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis (The Rep) is pleased to welcome Jeremy Goldmeier as its new public relations and digital media manager. Goldmeier will be responsible for creating and executing strategic communications campaigns to promote the theatre's productions and events.
"It's great to have someone with Jeremy's experience in journalism and the arts join our marketing team," said Steven Woolf, The Rep's artistic director. "I think he's going to make a great contribution to our organization and we are all quite pleased that he is part of the staff."
Goldmeier most recently served as communications manager at Variety the Children's Charity of St. Louis, promoting and preparing numerous high-profile fundraising efforts. That included the Dinner with the Stars gala at the Peabody Opera House, as well as the hit Variety Children's Theatre program. His previous experience includes communications work at St. Louis nonprofits like stl250 and College Bound. A graduate of the University of Missouri's School of Journalism, Goldmeier also spent three years as a newspaper reporter.
"I'm a bit of a theatre nerd," Goldmeier said. "So the opportunity to work at a nationally renowned company like The Rep is like getting called up to the major leagues. I'm thrilled at this opportunity and can't wait to spread the word about The Rep's fantastic productions."

This project is supported in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency, which believes that a great nation deserves great art.
