When streetwise Tempest Landry is accidentally killed in a shooting, he finds himself at the Pearly Gates. Sentenced to hell by Saint Peter for his misdeeds, Tempest has only one thing to say: No. Hell, no. So it's back to earth for a second chance that leaves the fate of heaven and hell resting in his hands. Accompanied by an angel named Joshua, Tempest is faced with the error of his ways but refuses to take responsibility. In a tangled web of temptation and relationships, The Fall of Heaven is a daring, imaginative and fanciful tale that brings heaven and hell together to take on Tempests' challenge.
The world premiere of The Fall of Heaven opened at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park in Cincinnati, Ohio in January 2010 to widespread praise and was the winner of Six Acclaims Awards.
