The heart -felt, hilarious Souvenir by Stephen Temperley tells the story of the collaboration of the inexpert but self-confident Florence Foster Jenkins and the talented but unsuccessful pianist Cosme McMoon. It is through his clear buT Loving eyes her story is told. Their bizarre partnership yielded off-key recitals that earned them standing ovations and cultish fame - culminating in a sold out concert at Carnegie Hall in 1944, which proved their greatest challenge. Debby Lennon stars as Florence Foster Jenkins, Paul Cereghino co-stars as Cosme McMoon and Sydnie Grosberg Ronga directs.
Peter Quilter pens the savagely funny and deeply moving musical drama End of the Rainbow, a gritty depiction of Judy Garland about to make her final comeback as she struggles to get "beyond the rainbow," with her signature cocktail of talent, tenacity and razor sharp wit. Garland's iconic songs are featured here, including "The Trolley Song," "The Man that Got Away" and "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". The cast and creative team to be announced.
