Broadway performers Ken Page, Jenny Powers, Bruce Adler and RoBert Westenberg will star in the upcoming St. Louis Muny staging of the Charles Dickens-based musical Oliver!, which will be presented from July 31st through August 6th.

The show will feature Page (Ain't Misbehavin,' Cats) as Mr. Bumble, Powers (Little Women, Of Thee I Sing at Encores!) as Nancy Sykes, Adler (Crazy for You, Oklahoma!) as Fagin and Westenberg (The Secret Garden, Into the Woods) as MR. Brownlow, with Christian Probst as Oliver Twist, Patti Mariano as Widow Corney, Gary Glasgow as Mr. Sowerberry, Kari Ely as Mrs. Sowerberry, Michael Burton as Noah Claypole, Kerry Conte as Charlotte, Dominic Roberts as The Artful Dodger, Meggie Cansler as Bet, Ben Crawford as Bill Sikes, Laura Ackerman as Mrs. Bedwin, Cortney Wolfson as the Rose Seller, Mary Catherine McDonald as the Milkmaid, Stephanie Gibson as the Strawberry Seller, Jesse Bernath as the Knife Grinder, Jonathan Parks-Ramage as Long Song Seller, John Freimann as Dr. Grimwig, P.J. Palmer as Book Boy, Jeanne Trevor as Old Sally, Joy Powell as Old Lady and Etai BenShlomo as Charley Bates.  Andrew Arrington, Preston Truman Boyd, Antwayn Hopper, Michael Lowney, Jonathan Parks-Ramage and KendAl Sparks will play the Pauper Assistants.

"Join the world's most famous orphan–Oliver Twist–on a tour through the grimy back streets of Dickens' Victorian London. A host of raffish characters including Fagin, Nancy and the Artful Dodger take us from the raucous river front pubs to the shadowy reaches of London Bridge," state Muny notes on the show, which features book, music and lyrics by Lionel Bart.  The score includes "As Long As He Needs Me," "Consider Yourself," "Where is Love?," and more.

Oliver! opened at the Imperial Theatre on January 6, 1963 and ran for 774 performances.  The show, which won three Tony Awards (including one for Bart's score), starred Georgia Brown and Clive Revill.  It inspired an Oscar-winning 1968 film.  Oliver! has been revived on Broadway twice--in 1965 and 1984.  It also received a smash London revival starring Jonathan Pryce as Fagin.
