Things get bumpy when promising young novelist Brooke Wyeth returns home to Palm Springs to get her family's approval of her newest work - a tell-all memoir dredging up long-kept family secrets. Daring her conservative parents to oppose her, Brooke draws a line in the sand, and when it is crossed, the result threatens to undo them all. Politics, lies and regrets collide in this biting, sharp and fiercely funny Pulitzer Prize finalist.

The cast of Other Desert Cities at The Rep is Glynis Bell (Woman Before a Glass: A Triptych in Four Parts) as Silda, Celeste Ciulla (Over the Tavern) as Brooke, Alex Hanna as Trip, Dee Hoty (Book of Days) as Polly and Anderson Matthews (You Can't Take It With You) as Lyman.

The Rep's production of Other Desert Cities is directed by Rep Artistic Director Steven Woolf.

The creative staff also includes Michael Ganio, set designer; David Kay Mickelsen, costume designer; Phil Monet, lighting designer; Rusty Wandall, sound designer; Rich Cole, casting director; Glenn Dunn, stage manager; and Shannon B. Sturgis, assistant stage manager.
