"If a Guy did not have a Doll, who would holler on him?" Step right up, and bet your money as Family Musical Theatre opens their season with the musical comedy "Guys and Dolls". Based on a book by Damon Runyon, this "fable of Broadway" captures the 1940s spirit of New York stereotypes: gamblers, entertainers, hopeless romantics and church-following missionaries. Popular tunes such as "Adelaide's Lament", "If I Were a Bell", and "Luck Be a Lady" by Frank Loesser add color and insight to the characters. With multiple Tony Award Nominations, including Best Musical and Best Choreography, and a successful film make this musical on of Broadway's best successes. This is one show you will not want to miss this summer.
As a registered non-profit organization, Family Musical Theater has been giving the St. Louis community an opportunity to participate in live charitable Community Theater since 1989. FMT is also a volunteer-run group that donates proceeds from its productions to a local charity. To find out more information, please contact John R.
