Action for Autism (AFA) will host their 2nd annual theatre fundraiser with the original play "Tony & Liz Tie the Knot." After the success of last year's "The Violinist," Susan Berardi and Vanessa Roman have created their own version of "Tony & Tina's Wedding" and transported it to The Hill. Local businesses have generously come together to help make this an authentic Italian wedding production not to be missed! The nuptials can be witnessed September 21st – 30th. The first act takes place at the Gaslight Theatre in the Central West End then moves to the Elevens next door for an interactive wedding reception.

Six area bakeries have donated wedding cakes for the production and a different Italian restaurant will feed the "wedding guests" each night. The restaurants have been generous in cutting pricing for their catering for this charity event. The restaurants and bakeries will be listed alongside each performance so guests can choose which wedding night to attend based on what meal they'd like to eat!

Local florists, DJs and The Wedding Shoppe donated their goods and services to complete the evening. The Wedding Shoppe went out of its way to custom make not one, but two, wedding gowns specifically for the actress playing the bride. One will be worn in the production and one will be displayed in their shop in Troy, MO to help advertise the show.

Berardi and Roman are two local mothers of children with autism and have co-written the play, with Roman directing. The lead character is a man with Asperger's and a local young actor with Asperger's will also have a role in the play. Proceeds from tickets sales go directly to the not for profit AFA which ensures all money raised is used locally.

Tickets are on sale now at Brown Paper Tickets and only a select amount of rush tickets for the first act will be sold at the door.
