AS YOU LIKE IT At Ozark Actors Theatre Announces Cast And Creative Team Image

Ozark Actors Theatre is excited to announce the full cast and creative team for their upcoming summer production of Shakespeare's As You Like It. The highly anticipated production has been adapted to a 1960s setting, featuring the music of that era, by Director and Choreographer Jenny Male.

She'll be joined by Music Director Titus Kautz, and a deeply talented design team, including lighting design by Kevin Shaw, costume design by Julian AC King, properties design by Laura Light, and scenic design by Patrick Uhlrich.

Rosalind will be played by Katharine Nedder, a New York-based actress who has appeared as Dorine in Tartuffe (American Theatre of Actors), Ugly Little Sister (Strasbourg Institute Clifford Odets Commission) and as Masha in the world premiere of When Johnny Comes Marching Home in the off-off-Broadway Thespis Theatre Festival. Opposite Katharine will be Danny Bertaux in the role of Orlando.

Ozark Actors Theatre favorite Blane Pressler will return to the Cedar Street Playhouse stage this summer as Touchstone, and he'll be joined by Hollyn Gayle in the role of Celia. OAT Artistic Director A.S. Freeman is slated to play Oliver, with Shannon Fields as Audrey and Adama, Anna Nisbett as La Belle and Phebe, Nicholas Reese as Dennis and Silvius, and Titus Kautz tackling a variety of roles.

The melancholy poet Jaques will be played by Austin Davis. Peter Boyer makes his Ozark Actors Theatre debut as both Duke Frederick and Duke Senior. Mr. Boyer is based out of Washington, DC and has appeared at the Olney Theatre, Rep Stage, and the historic Ford's Theatre.

As You Like It was written by William Shakespeare. The Ozark Actors Theatre production will feature the music of the 1960s and was adapted to this setting by Jenny Male. It is generously sponsored by Brewer Science.

Tickets are on sale now and are available at the Ozark Actors Theatre website, www.ozarkactorstheatre.org.
