The comedy of tangles at Teatro Español

THE COMEDY OF ENREDOS is the shortest work of William Shakespeare. A "remake" luxury of the work of Plautus The Menaechmi, inspired by another Greek: The Twins Posidipo, and the latter probably based on a story by popular tradition.

The Bard of Stratford puts us action in an exotic and southern mysterious Europe, Ephesus (Turkey) and plays masterfully with the entanglements that may cause confusion of a twin on the other entanglements that exponentially multiplied having two pairs of twins, masters and servants, who are confused even among themselves.
