Simon Keenlyside Recital at Gran Teatre del Liceu

Simon Keenlyside is one of the world's most charismatic baritones, displaying consistently high quality and sensitivity of interpretation. His versatility, depth and sense of drama are second to none and he ranks among the leading present-day exponents of Lieder.

Remembered at the Liceu for his brilliant performances in Hamlet and Don Giovanni, he has always been well received by the Barcelona audience. His rendering of Hamlet earned him the award for the best male singer of the season in the Critics' Awards organized by the Friends of the Liceu.
