Serse at Gran Teatre del Liceu

Serse, the King of Persia, wants to marry Romilda but she is in love with his brother Arsamene. Romilda's sister Atalanta is also enamoured of Arsamene. And Amastre, Serse's former fiancée, is masquerading as a man and out for revenge. With assistance from the servant Elviro, this imbroglio gives rise to numerous twists and turns before reaching a happy conclusion.
