Otello Concert version at Gran Teatre del Liceu

Venice. Otello comes home victorious after fighting the Turks. Jago and Rodrigo are envious – Jago has his sights on Desdemona, Otello's fiancée – and conspire against him. Their plan is to use a love letter Desdemona wrote to Otello, without daring to name him, which they have intercepted. When Otello sees the letter he goes mad with jealousy and kills her, unaware that he has been tricked.
