Mayumana: Racconto at Teatro Arriaga

Mayumana presents RACCONTO, a unique show that brings together all the ingredients that make this company a leading light on the world stage. For this special occasion, the company has worked with Andreu Buenafuente. The popular comedian and presenter has adapted the script to suit the Spanish sense of humour and also provides the voice-off narration that links video images with the different musical numbers.

With RACCONTO the company is marking 15 years of artistic creation, the over 7 million audience members who have seen its shows, and the success achieved on the world’s biggest stages, such as New York, Paris, Madrid, Buenos Aires, Milan and Berlin.


RACCONTO is a unique and inimitable show, a celebration brimming with rhythm, movement, theatre, music, dance and humour, in the classic original style of Mayumana. In this new show, the company brings together the best ingredients from productions such as Mayumana, Bejuntos, Adraba, Momentum… and a whole host of other surprises.

The unifying thread running throughout the show will be a humorous voice-off narration, which will link video images with the different musical numbers. For performances in Spain, the show will include references to the special relationship Mayumana has had with the country since it first performed there for the first time 11 years ago.
