The impressive Dmitri Hvorostovsky, one of the most highly acclaimed and interesting baritone voices on the worldwide opera scene, is back at the Liceu. Hvorostovsky, who will be accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of the Liceu Opera Barcelona, is outstanding for his distinctive voice and stage presence.
He made his international reputation by singing Russian music, both operatic and traditional, but soon became one of the leading Verdi baritones, known for his refined, expressive phrasing.
