Diana Damrau concert at Gran Teatre del Liceu

The much-lauded Diana Damrau, one of the foremost bel canto divas of our day, comes back to the Liceu to sing great arias by Verdi, Bellini, Donizetti, Rossini and others: the essence of bel canto.

Diana Damrau has been described as «the leading coloratura soprano in the world» (New York Sun), with a voice that «is simply glorious, whether in cradled pianissimi or heroic outbursts» (Financial Times). She has recently been proclaimed best female singer of the year in the 2014 International Opera Awards.
