Christmas Concert at Gran Teatre del Liceu

Our Christmastide classic is inspired by the nativity play Els Pastorets, by Ramon Folch i Torres, starring the shepherd boys Lluquet and Rovello?. The tale is told to the accompaniment of delightful musical excerpts. The play comes to the Liceu in a newly orchestrated version by Albert Guinovart, to whom we owe such great musicals as Mar i cel, Flor de nit, or Gaudi?. It is performed by the Liceu's own Symphony Orchestra and the Cor Vivaldi-Petits Cantors de Catalunya, which includes one of Catalonia's most prestigious children's choirs.
