The winner of The 1st Korea Theater Awards and The Best Play by Critics in 2009, Peer Gynt written by Henrik Ibsen and directed by Korean director YANG Jung Ung returns three years after its premiere. YANG Jung Ung created a modern version of Peer Gynt with his magical scenic style. It is regarded as difficult to stage the play due to its rapid and frequent changes of scene, and extensive lines. YANG Jung Ung comes up with a concept of playground with a standing mirror in 12 meter height, bicycles, ladders, ballet bars and a bath tub on soil ground. One simple space turns into a village, forest, beach and other imaginary places, which create a dynamic theatrical experience.
