Boris Berezovsky, known as “the heir of Russian pianism,” received international recognition and fame by winning the Gold Medal of the Tchaikovsky Competition in 1990. After his successful London debut at the Wigmore Hall in 1988, the Times described him as “an artist of exceptional promise, a player of dazzling virtuosity and formidable power.” The Russian virtuoso pianist, a winner of International Piano Awards in 2007, will play sonata by Bartok, 10 Lyric Pieces and Norwegian Dances by Grieg, and sonata and “Petrushka” by Stravinsky for the recital at Seoul Arts Center.
