Seoul Players Call for 10 Minute Play Submissions for Festival in September

Seoul Players has announced a call for submissions for it's 2nd annual 10 Minute Play Festival, which runs 9/14 to 9/22. The deadline for submission is 5/31.

Last season, the competition drew over 100 submissions from writers all over the world, and the selected pieces were performed to sold-out houses of Seoul's most enthusiastic audiences.

"This year, we want an even better, more challenging, exciting festival to offer our patrons" said Jessica Adel of the Seoul Players.

Scripts must be no longer than 10-12 minutes in length. Keep in mind the feasibility of production. Send finished scripts to seoulplayers@gmail.com no later than May 31st.

The line-up will be announced on BroadwayWorld on June 29th.

The festival will take place on 9/14, 9/15, and 9/22, 2012. The shows of the 14th and 15th of September will each feature a different line-up of selected plays. The audiences will vote on which plays should advance to the final round of competition, to be held on the 22nd, where an over-all winner will be voted best of the festival.
