National Theater of Korea Presents THE LOVE OF CHUNHYANG This Weekend

<The Love of Chunhyang> is Universal Ballet's major creation which portrays the most beautiful emotions ballet can express with highly-advanced technique and mime, while keeping the story and characters of the classic 'Chunhyang-jeon' intact. The piece was at the center of attention when it sold out every show at Ballet Festival Korea 2018 and invited to Colombia in the same year.

Masterpieces by Tchaikovsky played throughout the performance strike an exquisite harmony with the Korean classic, 'Chunhyang', giving one an impression that he wrote the pieces for Chunhyang. In addition, a dynamic staging of mega-size LED videos show different sceneries. The choreographer Bingxian Liu, artistic director of Universal Ballet, was awarded "Choreographer of the Year" by Dancers' Career Development Center in 2018 and the piece won the 1st prize in dance at Edaily Culture Awards in 2019.
