Based on the provocative novella of suspense, horror and repressed sexuality by Henry James, this unique adaptation gives the famous story yet another turn. A young governess journeys to a lonely English manor house to care for two recently orphaned children. However, the new governess begins to see the specters of two former employees haunting the children, and she must find a way to stop the fiends before it is too late. Presented by Canterbury Summer Theatre, one of the Midwest's oldest professional summer stock companies, now in its 47th season.
