"Noises Off," a comedic farce, opens April 21 at Aiken Community Playhouse and runs for 3 weekends! The show follows a traveling theater group putting on a play called "Nothing On." It's a story told in three acts with a rotating set that provides a look at both onstage and backstage as the ill-fated "Nothing On" careens from catastrophic dress rehearsals to hilarious failures. Hijinks abound with costume malfunctions, mistaken identities, plates of sardines and love triangles. Show dates are April 21, 22, 28, 29, May 5 and May 6 at 7:30 p.m. and April 30 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults, $17 for seniors/active military and $12 for students. Show contains adult material and is not recommended for children.
