However you come together and celebrate in winter, we invite you to wrap yourself in history, tradition, and warm, fuzzy feelings as HALO presents Carols by Candlelight at St. Johannes Lutheran Church. Home to HALO’s concert series, the 1842 architectural gem is the perfect setting for an intimate evening of beloved sacred and secular songs.
The 75-minute program includes holiday staples O Holy Night, Carol of the Bells, The Christmas Song and Ave Maria and features the lush voices of Leah Edwards, Lauryn Kay, Dimitri Pittas, and Kenneth Stavert. Special Guest John Tecklenburg will enchant the audience with his pianistic virtuosity and classic charm. This evening of music and magic is sure to delight the whole family—all kids from one to ninety-two!
Carols by Candlelight is a one-time only event on Friday, December 6 at 6pm. Doors open at 5:30pm. Beverages are available for purchase on the portico before the performance. The VIP Experience includes post-performance cocktails and conversation with the artists and special guests. Tickets: $50/VIP, $35/General Admission, $15/Children 12 & under. St. Johannes Lutheran Church is located at 48 Hasell Street and is fully ADA compliant.
