Behind many a smiling face, there is a hurting heart. Lured by the beauty and prestige of life on the stage, Norah runs away from home to marry the charming Augustus Joyce and join his traveling troupe of performers. However, Norah soon discovers that life does not always go as planned. Trapped in a world of her own making, Norah begins to fear that Augustus' lust for fame and drink could not only destroy her, but also her precious daughter, Rosalie.
Based on the book A Peep Behind the Scenes that sold over 2 and 1/2 million copies in 1887, this captivating, original musical makes its gripping debut on the Logos Theatre stage! The Logos Theatre, already well known for their faithful and epic adaptations of the beloved Narnia series, brings this powerful and deeply human story to life with original music, towering sets, hand-made victorian era costumes, and breathtaking choreography and acrobatics.
A Peep Behind the Scenes highlights the issues of abuse, human trafficking, and grief with a resolve that offers hope and redemption as the production comes to a close.
