Trustus Theatre is presenting The Tunes of Trustus; an intimate fundraiser featuring Trustus performers from the past 25 years. This special event is happening in Columbia on April 20th at the gorgeous home of Ilsa and Roland Young. The cost of $75 includes an open bar and heavy hors d'œuvres starting at 6:30pm. The concert will follow at 8pm.

The Tunes of Trustus is a retrospective evening that brings together past Trustus performers from all over the nation to celebrate the past 25 years of Trustus musicals. "This is a very exciting event," said Trustus Business Manager Kay Thigpen. "We have to have fundraisers to keep Trustus functioning and producing quality entertainment. This is a unique evening that will really excite our supporters. Without them, we couldn't keep the doors open."

This special fundraising event will be held at the beautiful home of Ilsa and Roland Young, at 2555 Rainbow Drive. Guests will be treated to a gorgeous poolside atmosphere that will relax and enchant. And that's just the beginning.

The delectable treats of Janet Brabham will be available when the Cocktail Buffet opens at 6:30pm.

At 8:00pm, once the evening has really kicked off, over a dozen of Columbia's favorite Trustus performers from all over the nation will perform a concert that is not to be missed. With songs from the past 25 years of Trustus musicals, the night will be a lovely retrospective on Trustus' commitment to bringing the most engaging and freshest musicals to the Midlands.

Featured performers are NYC Cabaret artist Jonathan Whitton, Jimmy Flannery, Stan Brown, Kevin Bush, Kim Harne, Robin Gottlieb, Vicky Saye Henderson, Caroline Weidner, Valdina Hall, Linda Posey, Mandy Applegate, Jason Stokes, and DiAnne Wilkins. The entire evening will be emceed by popular television actor Ron Hale, star of various critically acclaimed Trustus productions from the past.

Tickets for this very unique evening may be purchased for $75. Reservations may be made by calling the Trustus Theatre Box Office at (803) 254-9732. Also, interested parties can visit www.trustus.org for more information on this special fundraising event and upcoming shows.
