Seph Stanek returns to his homestate of South Carolina to join Brittany Hogan Alomar and Jack Cohan for "An Evening on Broadway."
The trio will perform a full range of Broadway showtunes including selections from "Carousel," "Les Miserables," "Cabaret," and "The Phantom of the Opera," and concertgoers are encouraged to arrive early to guarantee admission.
A fourth-year company member of the New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players, Seph Stanek has completed ten Off-Broadway contracts in New York City, four concerts at Carnegie Hall, and four national/international tours. Recent concerts include a concert with Kristin Chenoweth and the Concert Pops of Long Island (NY), the Breast Cancer Foundation's Annual Gala in the Cayman Islands, and an exclusive concert for the United Nations at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Temple of Dendur. Seph will make his Broadway debut next year as The Scribe in Akhenaten the Musical.
Brittany Hogan Alomar holds a Master's Degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from the Peabody Conservatory of John Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Music Degree from Furman University. She has performed leading roles in numerous opera and musical theater productions and was chosen to sing the National Anthem at Wrigley Field for the Chicago Cubs. Brittany has developed her own thriving private voice studio in Greenville, South Carolina, and is also a voice faculty member at the SC Governor's School for the Discovery and Academy summer programs.
Jack Cohan made his orchestral debut with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra at the age of 14, and at age 18 was selected for the Canadian Young Artists Tour, performing throughout Canada. He has both a Masters and Doctorate in Piano Performance from Indiana University. Jack has served as Director of Arts and lectures at the University of Wisconsin, Director of the Arts Complex at the University of Connecticut, and as Executive Director of Greenville's Peace Center for the Performing Arts.
All donations collected during the concert will support ASTEP's mission of providing artists with the opportunities to share their passion with underserved youth in the U.S. and around the world. Together we celebrate the transforming power of the arts!

How much? The concert is free and open to the public; an offering will be made during the concert to benefit Artists Striving to End Poverty.
