ROCK 'N ROLL HEAVEN 2 Becomes Centre Stage's Most Successful Show

Rock 'n Roll Heaven 2 continues to break all box office records, making it the most successful show in Centre Stage history! Concert-goers have described Rock 'n Roll Heaven 2 as "phenomenal," "unbelievable," "fantastic," and "even better the second time around!" Paul Hyde, arts writer for The Greenville News, was there opening night and said "Rock 'n Roll Heaven 2 takes the audience on an exuberant and fast-paced tour" and he described the spectacular sequel as "two solid hours of righteous ribcage-rattling rock."

It's been nearly a year in the making! Ever since we closed Rock 'n Roll Heaven last season, everybody kept asking, "when will you bring it back?" Well, you asked for it and we delivered! Centre Stage's most successful and popular show has returned to the Upstate with Rock 'n Roll Heaven 2! This mind-blowing concert features music from some of Rock's greatest decades, including hits from the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's.

If you missed last season's Rock 'n Roll Heaven, here's your chance to see what everybody was raving about! And if you saw it last year, you won't want to miss the return of this incredible rockfest featuring several crowd-pleasing numbers from last season (Purple Haze, RESPECT) as well as some all-new hits, like Rosanna and Shook Me All Night Long. Once again, we pay tribute to the artists whose genius defined American popular music. From James Brown to Blood, Sweat and Tears to Lynard Skynard to the Righteous Brothers -- we sought out the very best Rock has to offer and showcase the songs with some of the Upstate's most talented performers.

Our unparalleled roster of performers boasts an incredible array of impressive credits including an American Idol Hollywood finalist, studio sessions in Los Angeles and Nashville, and touring with Paul McCartney, Bette Midler, and Frank Sinatra. Returning from last season's Rock 'n Roll Heaven are Katie Rockwell, Drew Horton, Marvin King, Kelley Norwine, Victor Young, Larry Zarella and Casey Thornton. Joining them are Rock 'n Roll Heaven 2's newest rockers, Rashonda Greggs, Laura Horton and April Schaeffer.

Directed and choreographed by Kimberlee Ferreira, with musical direction by Joe Wehunt, Rock 'n Roll Heaven 2 features some of the Upstate's most talented and accomplished musicians: Greg Day on bass, Tim Lee on electric guitar, Garrett McKinney on drums, Doug Norwine on the saxophone, and Joe Wehunt on keyboard.

Rock 'n Roll Heaven 2 runs through February 26th (performances are Thursday through Sunday only), with 8:00 p.m. performances on Feb. 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26 and one last Sunday matinee performance at 3:00 p.m. on Feb. 20. Tickets are $30 for adults with discounts for students. All seats are reserved.
