Restored Art Deco Movie House Brings Tony Award Winner to Center Stage
The Newberry Community Players present the Tony award and Pulitzer prize winning play PROOF at the historic Ritz Theatre on Newberry's Main Street.

The Ritz, the 1936 Art Deco Movie House, is the home of the The Newberry Community Players, a non-profit, volunteer run organization dedicated to bringing quality theatre opportunities to Newberry and the surrounding areas since 1975.
"I knew I wanted to direct this play because of the complex characters," says board member and director, Courtney Cooper. "It has all the elements we love in a good story: comedy, drama, mystery, romance. It has it all."
The four person cast includes Amy Brower, Tabitha Davis, Samuel Hetler and Lee O Smith.
"This show will make you laugh, cry, think, and hopefully give you something to talk about long after you leave the theatre."
Performance dates are February 16, 17, 23 and 24 at 7pm at 1511 Main St.
Newberry, SC, 29108. Reserve tickets online at www.TheRitzOnline.com
