November will be Latino Mes (Latino Month) in the Trustus Side Door Theatre as Palmetto y Luna brings a festival of Spanish and Latino arts and culture to Trustus' intimate 50-seat theatre and its rarely seen-by-the-public rehearsal space. Events will include the premiere of a new play by Julia Vargas that will be performed in Spanish with English supertitles, a film screening, an original one-man show from Bolivian Diego Mattos Vazualdo, and a tango party that serves as the grand finale. Latino Mes begins November 11th and ends on November 23rd, 2013. All adult tickets are $15 for each event, and student tickets are $10. Tickets may be purchased at www.trustus.org, or by calling the box office at (803) 254-9732.

Palmetto & Luna's mission is to foster an understanding of the Hispanic/Latino culture by promoting artistic creation and providing opportunities for cultural expression for the community in South Carolina. LATINO MES is a month dedicated to celebrating Latino culture, and November will bring many events to the Trustus Side Door and the Trustus Rehearsal space where patrons can dive into new cultural experiences.
