Legends in Concert® (http://www.LegendsinConcert.com) Myrtle Beach officials have announced the summer lineup for the leading tribute artist show.

The new set of tribute artists-who will perform from May 23 through Sept. 10-will portray Elvis, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, Tom Jones, and Alan Jackson. Tom Jones will have the ladies swooning through June 18 and will be replaced by the 70's disco icons, ABBA, on June 20. The Michael Jackson tribute artist will be making a special limited appearance through August 13.

Leo Days is one of the most sought-after Elvis tribute artists in the world and has performed overseas in France, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, Holland and Germany. He was named one of the top ten finalists in the 2008 Elvis Presley Enterprises Ultimate Elvis Contest and is one of the few Elvis tribute artists who performs all three eras of Elvis, from the rock 'n' roll 50s to the black leather of the 60s to the Vegas years of the 70s. An extremely versatile performer, Days not only sings, but also plays the guitar and piano.

Denita Asberry has a striking resemblance to the young Aretha Franklin and the powerful voice to match. Well-versed in jazz, pop, rock and rhythm and blues, Asberry has electrified audiences across the country for years with her tribute to the Motown diva. She started her career by impersonating several of her favorite singers in the national touring company of the musical, "Beehive," and quickly discovered that audiences were blown away by her portrayal of Franklin.
Ice-an award-winning tribute artist who has performed throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia-will portray the legendary King of Pop. Catherine Jackson, mother of Michael Jackson, once saw Ice perform and the first words she said to him were, "You look like my baby." He grew up near Jackson's hometown of Gary, Indiana and once won the grand prize of $50,000 in the talent competition at the Indiana State Fair for his portrayal of Jackson. Since that time, fans all over the world have marveled at the similarity of his appearance, dance moves and vocals to the late legend.

The Swedish pop sensation, ABBA, will be portrayed by a talented Canada-based foursome,
Jo-Anne Rooney, Ryan Buckley, Jeff "Scott" Artamonov and Suzanne Ogrinc-Lock Anni-Frid. The group's high energy and extensive background in all aspects of entertainment help to take audiences on a journey back to the thrilling ABBA performances of the late 70s and early 80s.
Doug Brewin will suit up as award-winning American country artist Alan Jackson in the summer lineup. Brewin has performed at the Legends in Concert theaters in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Branson, Mo., and has captivated audiences across the United States and Canada with his tribute to the singer. Prior to impersonating Jackson full-time, this gifted musician-who plays the guitar, drums, trombone and mandolin-was part of one of the Philadelphia area's most respected country bands.

"We are so excited to have a new outstanding group of A-team tribute artists take the stage this summer at our new theater at Myrtle Beach's Broadway at the Beach," said Chris Beattie, regional general manager for Legends in Concert. "We pride ourselves on sharing the best of the best and this new lineup of entertainers is just that. The performers are sure to 'wow' people of all ages and backgrounds with their moves, vocal abilities and uncanny resemblances to the legends they portray."

Legends in Concert is owned by the Las Vegas-based entertainment Production Company On Stage Entertainment and first burst onto the Las Vegas stage nearly 30 years ago. There are full-time locations in Las Vegas and Branson, Mo., and more than a dozen other shows that tour throughout the year on international cruise ships and live venues around the country. The show has run in the Myrtle Beach area for 16 years.

The new 600-seat Legends in Concert theater at Myrtle Beach's Broadway at the Beach was completed in mid-March after more than $2 million worth of renovations. It has a projected stage with seating surrounding on three sides; state-of-the-art production lighting; side stage monitors for close-up views from every seat; and programmable colored LED lighting accents in the lobby. It will also have nearly 50 V.I.P. table booths seats available.
